In 2016, CTET was held twice. First one was held on 22nd Feb 2016 and the results were declared in May 2016. Second CTET 2016 exam was held on 18th September.
Next CTET Exam is on 16th September 2018.
Before giving CTET exam, it is important to know the competition, cut-offs and pass percentages for previous year CTET exams. Some useful information is given below for your reference.

All the Candidates securing 60% and above i.e. 90 or more marks out of 150 will be issued Eligibility Certificate.
For candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., this percentage can be lower in accordance with the reservation policies of various School Managements.
All the candidates appearing in CTET will be issued Marks Statement.
Please Note that qualifying the CTET does not guarantee recruitment/employment to any person. CTET certification is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment to various schools.
The Validity Period of CTET qualifying Certification for appointment will be seven (7) years from the date of announcement of its results for all classes.
There is no limitation on the quantity of endeavors a man can take for obtaining a CTET Certificate.
A person who has qualified CTET may appear again for improving his/her score.
